Double vision

Something different tonight and I think it reflects how I am feeling today, quite in a very uncreative mood. I have processed this shot for exposure corrections though I'm not too keen on doing more than that today.

My Day: Apart from helping out with some advertising video for the Women's Wellness Centre, not much to report. I'm feeling quite low as a result of a very big decision I've just made. Anyway enjoy the shot. I'm preparing to do a shoot for Zingara (Tosin's Fashion label) tomorrow. It should be fun.

Please dont feel low Jide, everything will work out..even if it may not feel like it now.(look at me assuming I know whats getting u down).

The other thing..you did not keep your promise. What happened to the Lagos shot hmm? I keep trying to spot the difference on this one.

Hope you have a good weekend, and thank you for all the camera help smile I really appreciate it.

Jide i like the tones here. Thanks for consistently posting high quality shots. Even when you are down you continue to post strong work. Do you print any of these photos for your own enjoyment or are they all sitting on hard drives. I think you should be looking at publishing some. Maybe look to small print run publishers. When i was looking for photoblog sights and found shutterchance it was one of your drumming shots that made me decide yep this looks like the place.

Well, there you go again - so simple a subject but what a striking image it can make.

And I've just reviewed several of your other more recent posts too and your standard is as high as ever, your work inspirational. I'm learning from them all the time.

Sorry to hear the weight of a big decision is bearing down on you. Why not now make a series of small pleasant decisions to counter it. Decide to make your favourite meal; to spruce up in the clothes that make you feel good; to go for a walk in a pretty place; to watch a comic film; to chat with a friend. Bit by bit they might help to balance the weightiness of the big one. (Er... I'm not trained in this counselling lark, so I could be talking a load of rubbish!!!)

I like the symmetry. But, and I know I'm being picky, the sloping bottom edge is really distracting.
The symmetry is cool I hope the that now your decision is made things will improve for you. ONe of the best ways to make a heavy decision is to toss a coin. Not for the coin to decide but when it is spinning in the air you'll then know which way your decision should be made as you will heads or tails.

I like the reflections in the dark glass, especially the one on the right.

Sounds like fun tomorrow!

I agree with Nev. It was your work that made me want to stay. I wish I could produce such strong work when I'm down.

Detailed and colourful. I like the reflections in the glass windows. Good luck with tomorrow's fashion shoot.

Hmmm... Well... It's a shot of two windows. Not much to say, although it's one of the better shots of windows that I've seen.

You know what....EVERYONE'S talking about the windows but what stands out to me MORE is the character of the wall BESIDE the windows. The textures, the contrasting brickwork. SO much more charming to me....I JUST WANT TO TOUCH THAT WALL!!! Beautiful...so much character...sorry...you can't take the architect outta the girl!!! grin
