I finally got round to posting a shot on time today. This shot follows the one from yesterdays shot. I got the inspiration to process this one after Samarth's comment regarding "The G8". What do you think? Any good?
My day: Just a lazy day. Preparing for a shoot for Saturday, I'm realising that I live a very boring life!
You know i'm not really too keen on this type of photography, if i'm being paid to do it, got no beef, as they say, "A dollar is a dollar", .
Ok you look at the model and say, nice..but then you ask yourself, she's a model anyway. You look at the composition and lighting and go, "AND!".
But you knew I thought this anyway
What's going on with the elbow outside the bars by the way?
This lady to me actually dosen't look trapped, if she is, then she's a tough cookie not to show no signs of emotions
By the way, your far from living a boring life keep up the good work.

I like this shot....its very 'Interview with the Vampire'. I really like this!!! Idea....have you thought about taking pictures in the style of certain movies? For example, Sleepy Hollow....Memoirs of a Geisha...etc. Food for thought.
Jide Alakija: You know you have a very good idea there....I think that's something I will try. Now to find a makeup artist for the job. Thanks Meme.

how did you get this effect with photoshop?
Jide Alakija: For the skin I used a "Diffuse glow" filter in photoshop. The rest was done through curves and colour balance.
I'm not a huge fan of this kind of processing...not my thing. But I think her expression and pose is more convincing than yesterdays. She does look a little "Elvira" Vampire-ish to me, which is probably why I am not too keen on this one.
Even more g8 - the accentuation of certain colours, paling of the skin, light on the central subject etc.....very well processed....love this shot BUT im hoping its a one time thing because U R Jide Alakija and i would like to see him return as well.....8.75/10
cr=9.5/10
Jide this is I have to say superb, the pose, the location and your excellent skills in the PP dept. I would also say it is very like the style of g8, but with a twist of JA, top shot....
Agree with Kezza....its got an airbrush feeling!!
you PP is amazing on this one Jide!
I was imagining this photo with the model without the jacket..(i think the jacket draws to much attention) Think it would look stunning if she only would wear a black top.
I know this comment has nothing to do with photography, hope you dont mind...
can't tellyou why Ilike it but I do... to me its a styled model shot which I'm really not fond of except for its creativity and here you have done exceptional... ole
This is (for me anyhow!) a reverse of yesterdays. Loved yesterday's PP but not so much the post. Today love the pose and the power of her expression, but not connecting with the PP tone so much...
great picture, in my eyes. the toning delivers an ice-cold mood, underlined by the cold steel and the facial expression. "trapped" is an apropriate title for this one.
