really don't know what to say about this one. It's another one of my experiments. I'm trying to develop a macro collection at the moment that will use this selective focus style to them. Hopefully I'll have another tomorrow. In the mean time what do you think of this one?

Also I can't think of a suitable title for this one either. Help!

Oh and thanks to Yemisi and Elsie for helping me decide on this version, I initially had a mono version up)

I like it. It's simple and the colours are very calming.

It's a great idea, but I have two suggestions: 1) maybe 1 stop more DOF so that the stalk has a touch more body to it, and 2) on a subject like this, where the end of the grass head is disappearing pretty much away from you rather than at an angle, focusing on the end _might_ be better. Right now, there's an out of focus bit which is getting in the way of the bit in focus. My 2ยข worth.

You really do love this len's don't you? smile Not very knowledgeable in this type of photography but with my very untrained eye, it looks good, nothing out of place, good DOF, like the sharpness at the tip, like the background colour to, suits the shot, so all my untrained eye can see is a perfect shot, well that's my 2centssmile

I like this, very good use of depth of field and the soothing greens are just what I need right now smile

Only one word in my head right now...APPLE....this would be a wallpaper right up their alley and one they wud've been proud of...there isnt that "much" in the picture but the macro styling is really good so 7.5/10 from me....

Something quite unsettling about that. Maybe because it looks like an insect coming to get me. Whatever it is, I like the photo because it's hard to look at for me.

For me there is too little in focus and the subject is leading out of the frame. It might have appealed to me more positioned on the right leading in...imho
Jide Alakija: Hmm....thanks for that thought.
