Under the Thames

A shot taken during my HDR experimental days. This was along the Thames on the South Bank. Can't remember where but I remember it wasn't far from the Shakespares Globe. It was taken on one of those days when the tide was very low and as such I could climb down the stairs and walk on the river banks. Normally this part would be underwater.

How's your weekend treating you so far? I'm going to post a few of my best portraits next week in an attempt to start another series. "The Portrait Series Part Duex" ]following on from the first portrait series (06 March 2006 - 12 March 2006)]. You can see how far I've come since then.

Rhapsody in green? Great find for the subject and excellent technique in capture
the colors and the perspective is wild. really sweet capture.

I love the idea for the shot but everything apart from the post on the left looks a little soft to me. Was that intentional?
Jide Alakija: No Jon, I didn't notice it until I start processing the shot and all the data in that region was lost in all exposures.

Great shot. I love the atmosphere - action game like - and the green tones. Very nice !

this has a really "unreal" quality to it, and I love the colours. Actually like the softness of it, adds to the feel, even if it wasn't intentional

Love seeing this view that we normally wouldn't be able to. I like the processing work, too. It also have a wonderful, almost 3D effect to it.

Looking forward to seeing the portrait series. I think I remember the first one.

There is something about this photo of yours ... it sometimes feels like the picture is 'moving', like I'm seeing it on water
