I Love You

One of those nights/days where I haven't had the time to process anything new so I've dug into the archive to produce what I can. I've got to that point where I've run out of ideas on how to present my images again, honestly I can't understand what has happened but I'm now struggling when I process my shots these days. I need some inspiration.

This is a shot from a Pre-wedding/engagement shoot I did for this couple you see here. They kindly volunteered for a portfolio I have just recently started to develop. When I took this shot I didn't see the scribble on the door (on the right), I guess you could say that I was lucky with this one. I thought maybe it would be a good idea to complete the heart but then again I thought not too and just leave it as you see it.

Nothing to talk about today so have a great weekend.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, this is nice!
Jide Alakija: Thanks Dammie.
I know what that feeling is like even though i wish i had half your talent. You know, nature has different seasons and in like manner if one enters an "autum" or "winter" period, though it may look like a diminsihing or falling away or no apparent fruit, it's just a phase.

Just yesterday, I cycled about an hour looking for something worthy and it was hard. Rode to the top of one of the hills in Manchester hoping to get some fantastic panorama but got a lot of haze instead!!! So go on bro, don't feel condemned.
sometimes you achieve the most amazing shots without planning them. example: the shot that you have posted. chances are that if you had tried to capture the emotion of the couple, while focusing on the i love you on the door, the shot would have lost something.

as for the lack of inspiration, it is like the ebb and flow of the tide. you cannot be inspired 100 percent of the time. if you were inspired all of the time, you wouldn't appreciate the feeling of inspiration.

You didn't notice the graffiti on the door? Must have been your subconscious mind that placed it so nicely in the frame then... smile Great shot.

This is a lovely capture Jide, made more so by the inclusion of the graffiti, I love the feel and composition, the processing is also excellent. I am sure this young couple loved this...

Jide -it's hot and sticky in London. You've just come back from Lagos which, no matter how interesting/fun it, was is not REALLY a holiday. What you need is a break, especially from the city...jump in that car of yours,if it's still moving wink, and escape somewhere with Tosin. The inspiration will come flooding back. Trust me (I'm not a doctor).
Lots of love Aunty Barbara
P.S. Just noticed Veloran's comment...so you need to free that subconscious mind..see? ..cool shot.

That's a great shot Jide. I'm always taking shots and missing details, usually things like lamposts in strategic positions lol. Anyway, barbara is right. A break is what's needed. I find just a day or two recharges the inspirational batteries.

This has a really strong "Westside Story" feel to it, very clean, very modern, very nice. I like this a lot - the wall and the floor just tie everything together.

It's too hot to be inspired by much of anything, but I'm sure your inspiration will return soon. In the meantime, good that you had this sweet image in your archives. The writing on the door was an added bonus, and I'm so, so glad you didn't fill in the heart! Nothing in this world is perfect, and over processing to make an image so drives me insane. This is just a fun shot, does the couple have a print?
Well, if you post like this when you're NOT inspired.....
Very nice shot, I'm sure the couple loved it!

I like the post processing. Very unique. The angle works as well. Could be an ad for some product. For some reason it reminds me of the beer ads that use to be on the train.
