The early catch

As you can see, I'm back, totally tired from a very long trip (as of the time this was being uploaded) and not much time to process the shots taken in Lagos. This one was relatively easy to process and looked even better in full size as there is more detail to see on the fishing boat.

Oh and this was actually from the first set of images taken on the day I arrived in Lagos. More stories tomorrow and thank you for the support you have given me on the "Streets of Lagos Series" I didn't expect the response I recieved from them, I'll see to it that I do more of those in the future.

Lovely shot Jide, I love the bleakness of the sea and sky, coupled with the sepia toning. It certainly lends alot of mood to the shot.

that's really beautiful, so peaceful. It's amazing how much content a photograph with so little in it can have. I love it

Wow. I really like this. The colouring is superb and the sense of scale is verging on epic. You say this was easy to process but I can't actually see how you'd approach this. What did you do to it?
Jide Alakija: Well most of the processing was done in C1 Pro and I think if you saw the original you'd probably agree with me. All I did was played around with the colour temp to produce a warm tone to it and then created the green feel in CS2. Also did minor curve adjustments to the boundaries too, that's it really.
