Karate lady

This image is for Suby!

I managed to do some studio shooting today, thanks to Lacrecia. I thought since Tosin was with me I decided that I would  capture some shots of her. I didn't really get the time to do a lot of work to it but I thought since it was a request this would just do.

What do you think of the lighting on this one? I'm hoping to put up another tomorrow and the day after where I've experimented with some new techniques I've been playing around with in the Studio. Let's see if I can make time to do so.

Jide Alakija: She was doing all sorts...This one seemed to stand out the most out of all the shots that I got.

WOW, I bow at your feet Mr Alakija, but 1st let me pay homage to this absolutely gorgeous woman who has decided to bestow on you her love and beaty. Tosin (aaaahhhh what a woman, such beauty, such grace ... (ooppps hope Sinem is not reading this smile ) I could go on for hours. You look TTTOOOOO BEAUTIFUL & SOO CUTE. Good to see you agian. Don't stay away for soo long next time, we (okay I) miss you smile

Now back to Jide, Now this is one of your best work, the lighting is soo spot on, darn why did I not take this shot, I love the pose, I love the composition, rule or 3rds used to a perfect T. The editing, whatever you have done makes my eyes water with jealousy, in fact the whole shot makes me jealous of the all round skills of the photographer (and to make matters worse, the lovely model is his wife, grrrrr) smile

You get a well deserved double coveted "I LIKEY" "I LIKEY" for such a wonderful capture.

Now when are you going to invite the Subster to a studio shoot, or am I not good enough to come with you?

Suby
Jide Alakija: Speechless....

Speechless....

Studio shoot? When next you free or have time. I don't know when next I'll be doing anything of that nature for now, I was only priveledged to take these shots because Lacrecia gave them to me. I don't think I'll be able to get them again unless I rent one! We'll see.

THANKS.

I can only add my agreement to what's already been said. The lady is a beauty and full of fun.

The image is a cracker in every way. An ideal image for a double page spread , with loads of space for an article or as an advetisement (for jewellery, perhaps?).
The expressions in the shot are very spontaneous and natural, priceless.

This lightning is absolutely perfect. Beautiful subject, of course.

I would love to know what kind of studio lighting you use.
Jide Alakija: I'm not sure, I used 4 different Bowens lamps. I think they were 500W each. Two to illuminate the background as you can see and two on the subject one on the left of the subject and one diagonally left-front. Does this help?

It works well, top stuff. There's a little mischeviousness in her expression which is sweet.

love these, the next one as well, the lighting awesome. How did you do that. She's beautiful!
Jide Alakija: I used two studio flashes one on the left and the other on the right.
