Rough times

Didn't process anything today and I found this in my archive. One of my really old shots that I took with my point and shoot.

Not much to say here. Hope you all had a great bank holiday.

Guys (members AND non-members), are you aware that shutterchance is currently running a competition? Every two weeks you could win £100 cash! You can find the details here.

Seeing that 19.7mm makes me giggle. I dont know why. Jide, you have just proven to the world that in order to be a good photographer you dont have to have an amazing camera. But then again, I take both sides of that statement.

Good work man.
Jide Alakija: Thanks Reza.

The scene looks so desolate and bleak. Good mood. One nitpick though, which is probably not your fault. It looks oversharpened. Can see quite a bit of haloing on the jetty in the distance.
Jide Alakija: Thanks Denosha. Yeah you are right about the sharpening

I like his picture. I could see myself out there deep in thought.

Does a great job portraying the atmosphere.
Jide Alakija: Thanks David.

I like this composition. how did you get those tones. Simple saturation and and hue control, or something more. Have missed blogging. Good to be back!
Jide Alakija: Thanks Nkx. Good to have you back.

Jide Alakija: Yeah. Had nothing to put up as I've not gone out. Thanks Adura.

very nice panoramic shot with beautiful color tone.
Nice capture. Was there more sky to this shot? If so, I would have left it in there. Kind regards, Brent
I like the tones of this image it is very atmoshperic. Does the vignetting come from the camera or the post processing?

I love the image but would have cloned out the signage on the post. Lovely composition otherwise.
