I think I'm going to go easy on the portraits I put up from now on and just focus mainly on my other stuff. As the world cup is coming there is a certain euphoria going around. Everyone has suddenly remembered where those footie boots were placed. Everywhere I go, there is a football ad, the whole media has gone footie crazy again. Even cosmetics such has hair gels now have football ads to sell them. It's crazy.
What do you think about this image? Remember be positive and constructive (not negative as is the case in sometimes on shutterchance). Sometimes I put up an image mainly for the story behind it not just for the art or technique.

you couldn't put up a bad photo if you tried ;-) As always another quality shot. I would however prefer to have only the goal netting as a barrier and not the metal netting fence as well, but nevertheless, liking the colours and composition and DOF. Good one bro
Jide Alakija: Beggars can't be choosers, when next I see an opportunity to put the goal netting I'lljust do that.
WIL:
-Futbol (as we say in Farsi/Persian/Iranian) shot in spirit of the World Cup. Very nice. I can see
-The reason behind the shot. Timely.
-Point of Focus.
-Colors, very nice.
WIDL:
-I'm not sure. I like all of this.
Overall, this is a very nice shot and some real nice meaning. Keep it up bro!
Don't remind me of the world cup ;-)! Stuttgart is one of the cities 'affected' and Sebastian and I are rather sick of all the marketing (as you so eloquently mentioned) and all the construction work that is going on. I loved soccer before that, but now I'm tired of it before it even began. And of course, since Sebastian is half Brazilian, we want don't expect Germany to win ;-).
I like this shot!! nice capture.....Over here everybody went crazy too....everything is orange...hats,underwear, socks glasses even orange pasta's!!! Guess ppl might think the duch have gone mad..(again)

Being a regular visitor, guess it's about time i joined in.
On this photo...
My eyes are drawn to the barbed wire fence or metal netting fence as attah called it. That said, it is rich in colour.
On the portrait issue...
Jide i think you do a real good job. Leye for one should consider a career change.
oooo now you reminded me the feeling of the field...the energy, the power, and when theres a goal...BOOM!!!!!
Havent been to the field since 16 years old...
Indeed, I was also reading an article, SO MUCH money involved in the World Cup (I couldnt believe it to be honest
Thanks Man!
