Moping at the lines

Don't look at this image for too long. It can hurt your eyes!!!! I had serious problems processing it....I was enjoying it too much, now I've got lines all over my eyes. As you can see I'm still on this duotone journey and really having fun at the same time. Also I think that Asiko's telephoto lens (Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro EX) is really allowing me explore the shy side of my photography. Funny stuff happened on his blog yesterday, he posted an image of me!!!! I'll get him back again....SOON!

Today was a good day, actually got round to shooting and out of all the 30 or so shots I got, only one came out okay and that's this one. Blogging is finally getting really really tough now. GOD help me.

Hope you all are having a fab weekend.

Post processing:BW through Lab mode, Toning through colour balance, vignetting, curve adjustments
Crop: Minor (straightening)

Jide my man, how did I know it was you? Good to see you...well, mostly your camera.

About this image....HORRIBLE. Just kidding bro. It's a very good image. I really like it.

What I like:
-Colors, very sexy. yes....sexy. ;-)
-Overall Composition
-Subjects
-The lines, wierd yet cool.
-Just...the whole set up of the shot. Very very nice.
-The vignetting worked real nicely. I'm glad you used it. It works
very well with the image.

What I dont like: (Here we go!)
-Nothing. There is nothing that I dislike about this image. I mean, other than..well, no..I like this shot. Very very very sweet photo bro.

Overall, one of the nicest shots I've seen. Though its not my style at all, I still like it a lot!
Jide Alakija: Thanks Man! Really happy you like it.

I love this shot ; obviously for the lines but the person fits in so well thanks to the uniform tones in the post processing.
Really well framed along with the great composition.

This is a cracking shot Jide, I love the placement within the frame and the guy who provides the finishing touch by gazing up and to the side, top man!

I really like this one - the horizontal lines are cool. The guy looks like he's a little frightened by what's about to come through that door!
I like patterns so much smile so this a photo to my taste.
