Lorie 1

I found myself a real superstar over the Bank holiday weekend. This is Lorie, an adurable Superstar in the making. Taking her photographs was such a pleasure. I guess some can say the same about Supermodels that are just natural actors and posers.

I have another shot that WE (yes she was very much part of the shoot) both worked out together for tomorrow.

It's amazing what a four year old can do!!!

Post processing: Increase in dynamic range, dodging on face and arms, H/S on yellow channel, H/S on red channel, massive colour correction using curves on all channels.

2006 Photobloggies are now taking nominations. The Photobloggies is an annual award ceremony celebrating photoblogging around the world. Through the Photobloggies, you can find some of the best photoblog sites on the internet.

now this is a pro at work! lovely smile, lovely pose, lovely colours. frankly i'm jealous....
Jide Alakija: Mate nothing to be jealous about, she did it all, I just pressed the button.
Lovely pose!

Not to sure of the un-natural skintones though! The face especially is looking rather polarized.
Jide Alakija: Must be the flash, when the shot was taken from the camera it looked very much like that. But I think the effect is still nice.

The highlight tones on her skin do look a bit strange... But apart from that, good angle, great pose, and nice shapes in the background. Very nice...
I'm Reza, seems about perfect in every way smile

yes she is a super model ! wink)
You´ve a lot of really nice shots. smile

I´ve noticed that children are always good eye catchers. Everytime! I think children prompt feelings like nothing other.

By the way I was in London just 2 weeks ago, visiting my girlfriend - it´s an amazing city, there are so many motifs.

the greatest difference between a supermodel and this adorable child is that latter has not been brained washed (at least as it is in the U.S.) as to what beauty is (as far as body shape), wonderful shot

All round great image for me. Content, execution, everything.

Not sure what the fuss about the skin tones is. Perhaps someone could expand? "Polarised" and "strange" don't really tell me much.

A far more natural smile than the Barbie on her shirt, that's for sure smile! Where do you find all these beautiful females, Jide??? Strange skin tones I will continue to exclusively associate with Michael Jackson ;-)...

Liking this shot plenty. A professional photographer friend of mine works with children and hearing her talk about it is pretty cool. Must been plenty of fun..

A lovely moment captured (yeah, even though I still don't like kids) I must say. Great timing and and composition here. I love the way the circles frame the shot. Great job!

I agree with Mr. Skee....there's something about her forehead especially that doesn't sit quite right....its a good shot, but her skin looks kinda pasty.
Thank you everyone. As I said the face came out like that out of the camera, I personally don't think there is anything wrong with it but then again I think I know why it's very natural baringin mind the fact that I took the shot.
