Rock Goddess

Something very different and quite bohemian, but who said everything has to have to follow the rules? I guess you should know me by now, I tend to skate on the edge and sometimes try to fly, sometimes fall flat face down in the process.

This is the ame lady as before and before that. I've chosen to reveal her more gothic side. I hope this image presents what it is I see. Anyway what do you think?

Post processing: Overexposed shot. Softening, Sharpening of the eye, colour correction through H&S, vignetting.

Love te post-processing, and the detailed info on it, but then again I almost always like your post-processing. However, I do not think she looks Gothic - not by my standards anyway!
Jide Alakija: No she doesn't look Gothic, but you and I both know that....so Shhhhhh!

Thanks for the comment.

Kudos to you man for experimenting. I think its a bit to overexposed for gothic (keeping in line with stereotypes obviously!)but it is certainly well composed.

Jide, I really LIKEY this shot.

Love the fact you have stepped away from the norm, it is a lovely pic in its own right, lovely composition, love the angle it was taken from, it is different. Good use of DOF, helps you have such a photogenic model to play with (although I have to ask, where is her left arm? smile )

Rock Goddess yes, gothic side, noooo smile

Step out of the box a lot more bro.

Suby
I agree Jide, its rather different
Hi, I have two comments with this but on the whole I like it, not my taste but I still like it. Her right cheek seems a little bright and secondly...and more importantly...where is left arm? If I have made a terrible faux pas please delete this comment!

i'm afraid, i'm not really into this one. i may be wrong but it looks over processed and overexposed. plus, the shadows on the the right of the pic makes it appear like she has no arm (though looking more closely, i can see it). Would have preferred if the background was sharper as the hues are really nice and i think it would have created a better contrast with the colours of the model's outfit.

Kudos to you though for taking a step away from the usual. keeps us guessing.

Oh, that wonderful look of youth, the clothes, hair, make-up, and attitude! Great portrait, the angle you shot at works so well with the subject.

Interesting composition, but I'm not sure about the colours, especially that over-cooked wooden(?) thing in the bottom left, and the pink fringes in the bottom right.
Hi, Jide. She doesn't come off as goth here, but I do like her shirt. You know me, I like shots with a lot of negative space. I'm not sure if it works here or not. There's not much to look at here on the left side of the image. The processing is great. I never noticed until BeakerSt, but her left arm isn't there...that's a little odd. I do like a great deal the other two images of her that you posted earlier. Regards, Brent

I like this. It's like a hi-key shot but not that far. I'd liked to have seen more detail in her eyes tho. But nice shot.

She looks like Shakira the colombian singer... beautiful model, nice photo!
She's lovely! And so is this shot...you really captured her "rick Goddess" attitude. I like the pink in her shirt as well. Great job!
