Pressure on tip toes

I'm not very happy with this one for one obvious reason that I don't want to go into, however you can point it out if you want to. I couldn't be bothered to do anything to it as I only noticed the issue until later on. It's past 12am and I have to post this. Sometimes blogging can put some aweful amount of pressure on you especially when you have to please the likes of Bola, Skee et. al.

This shot is the result of pressure from people who have gotten bored of my fashion show pictures, well here's another one. This time not a girl but a ballet dancer. It's more conceptual than anything.

Thanks everyone for the discussion last night.

Please pay attention to the ShMood when leaving comments in the blogs

Post processing: Exactly the same work done to this as was with yesterday except that this time I darkened the background a bit.

This is good, very good.I like it much better than the blurry blue background ones. The smooth skin tones here makes it really stand out and that background is just awesome,it's the kind of effect I always like - a natural blurry background (any more blurred would have pushed the limit, you got it perfect) with objects in it.Great job!I also really like that shadow on the 2nd leg...
Jide Alakija: Oh! yeah forgot to mention that I highlighted the shadow in the PP. Thanks.

Hello people, i decided to leave this comment on Jide's blog cause for some reason it's the blog i like the most although it's basically addressed to all of you. Just thought i'd let you all know that i'm a great fan of your work..i actually eagerly anticipate visiting your blogs every single day. It's like free access to a beautiful art gallery where new photos are put in everyday and you actually like and appreciate the work! And the constructive criticism you give each other is amazing..makes very interesting reading. You're all an inspiration and your work brightens up someone's day out there..so please keep taking photos. Thanks
Jide Alakija: Gosh...it's comments like this that keeps me going. I'm even happier that you left a comment, I get so many hits but not many comments to reflect it. What would you like to see next out of curiosity?
Actuyally I quite like it. the DOF makes it special

Lovin' this shot. Enough blur on the background to keep the main subject the focus whilst lending an ethereal feel to the whole scene...lovin' it.
PS: also like the innuendo in your caption.
I also immediately thought Degas !
I would be very happy if I would have taken this picture. Nice colors and composition.
If I really need to find something I would say those three pink lights in the background are a little bit disturbing. But that is only because you asked me to find something ! smile
Jide Alakija: Good point Sidney...thanks.

They look like flowers, especially the background girls. I like this one.
Jide Alakija: Good thought Micki. Thanks.

Jide Alakija: Somehow I didn't achieve what I originally set out to achieve. I guess my tiredness got to me. Thanks.

Personally i love the 'people' photos and how different emotions are captured and each one tells a story. But you know what..i think i like the element of surprise most..not knowing what image i'll see each day..so as long as the artist is happy with his work, i'm cool. Thanks for asking.
Jide Alakija: Then I guess you'll be surprised tomorrow then. Thanks for the comment.
excellent shot...nice frame and dof...one of yr best shot i thinksmile
Nice work here, Jide. It's very delicate but the colors are very dark and garner a lot of interest. It's a nice duality. I like it. Regards, Brent
I love the colours! I'm a theatrical/dance lighting designer so this really appeals.
