Druming for more

You can already tell that I don't have a lot of material to put up. I'm sure you all are tired of my drummers. The trouble is that I got so trigger happy during that moment that I got a lot of good shots, I'll make sure I spaec them all out during my postings.

I've been working hard to produce black and white shots that look like those taken by black and white film. This wasn't one of my best post processed shots I still think my best so far has been the Mat Mas comms shot.

Post processing:  Black and white conversion through lab mode (lightness channel), dodging to create depth or rather emphasise distance, addition of light yellow tone through solid color adjustment layer.

Awww poor you, anyway this is still a nice picture, Seen something similar from you before I think. Love the sepia tones. Too tired to write more, will put up more later today.

Nice capture, liking the DOF.

Very cool guys - well done.

I think this shot would have been better with a bit of eye contact. smile

I, for one, never tire of seeing (and hearing) the ones responsible for keeping the beat going strong! Love this photo.

I really like it, love photos that display cultural elementssmile
I like the use of DOF on this image it hasn't knocked out the background harshly and the features of the other drummers are still there to draw you into the image while not taking anything away from the front drummer....nice work.
I reall like the left to right progression of depth of field and the different expressions.
Nice processing; it does look similar to B/W film. Sharpness and expression on the man are very strong. I like this.
