Pose like Clark

It's only fair that I put up a shot for the men. Fashion goes across many boundaries, there's even fashion for Cats and Dogs too. It's all the art of clothing the subject. This is another shot taken at a Fashion show organised by the Imperial College Charity Fashion Show.

What do you think?

Post processing:  Curve for toning, colour manipulation of the background through Hue/saturation, a little play with the channel mixer to produce this somewhat desaturated effect.

I think the composition is just superb and processing is even better.

This could have been a shot of a guy just looking moody; instead, it came out great! I love the shadows and the way you've processed the shot/background: draws you into the expression on his face. Wonder what he was thinking?

Or, it could just be that I'm feeling the model. Got his phone number? For one of my single girlfriends, of course .... ! ;-)
WOW!--thats all i had to say. but the system had other ideas wink
I like the angle -- nice capture.
This is really a good picture!
Nice contrast, great compsition, great model, great shirt & tie! Perfect !

Very professional. I can just imagine the text being inserted in the empty space.

Nice picture... nice composition...
The subject's stare gives substance to the [otherwise bland] space on the left... very nice Pastor!

Jide, you a "pastor?"

Yeah its good, okay yeah it's great, (darn, I do not like you) lol. Two stonking shots in 2 days... Good work man.

Love the angle
Sorry, doesn't have the drama that I felt in yesterday's shot.

The shot yesterday had enough in the composition to suggest that it was a performance and she was the star. She was well composed in the image and the style supported the situation. I am assuming they are linked but today's just seems to be a guy in a dark room. Without yesterday's picture I would struggle to understand today's. It also seems a little blown out around his tie and sleeve, most unlike you wink

I may have it all wrong though, hope I am not being too critical?

For the men? I'd say this handsome fellow is for us ladies! ;o) Cool shot.
I like the angle and I also like his face, I wonder what he is thinking. Great shot.
Beautiful lighting. Very good effect.
Unusual angle, and I think it has worked very well here! Excellent lighting and expression too.

Really great portrait. The angle and background really make it snap(+ the tie!)
This is amazing. How did you manage to get just the right amount of light? Very nice. The angle makes it more interesting, and hos pose is very commercial. Nice shot.
Jide Alakija: I think I saw the moment before the shot was taken. This is something you get with events, you can almost predict the greaqt moments before they happen, you just have to click at the right time. Thanks for the comment.
You are not only good at taking pictures Jide, you are good at post processing too. Thats one thing that I want to learn!
Jide Alakija: Thanks alot Samcam. I'm really honoured to recieve such a compliment. If there is anyway I can help you on your learning please ask I'm always willing to share all I know....Honest!

Very nice and the dark background fits perfect, thats a cool tie hes wearingwink
The unique composition works well. It's hard to tell it's a clothing show. It looked to me, at first, like a statement about determination or corporate "values." I'm a little jaded these days, even if I am a business major. Regards.
