Lens for clarity

I've decided to chill out on the themes for a bit and concentrate on getting good shots up, you know, doing some real blogging and not cheating.  Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed sharing my series of shots on the various themes but it's removes the challenge of looking for something different to put up everyday.

I borrowed Tosin's mothers lenses and thought there was something creative that could be archived with it. This is what I came up with.

Tell me now, did you miss me?

Jide Alakija: A shot through a pair of glasses. Thought I'd bring my foot in focus. smile THanks
That is very interesting.
Jide Alakija: Thanks.
Nice colours but Will question the composition.
Jide Alakija: Thanks. What's there to question?

Ummmm, 1st time I looked at this, did not likey, but you know what? It's growing on me. smileYep it hurts my eyes, but it works, like the idea. So good one
Jide Alakija: You almost feeling better. That's good. Well it's the concept I like, the blur should hurt your eyes, hence the use of glasses. Thanks

Just thank God if you dont have to use prescriptive lenses as this picture captures exactly what some of us have to go through without them.

Nice shot
Jide Alakija: Yup. That's true. Good that you got it straight away.
Strange. Nice effect !
Jide Alakija: Thanks Sidney.

Had study it, then I saw it! Great! Can't wait to see what's next.
Jide Alakija: Thanks Micki. I'm hoping you'll be as impressed tomorrow.
Its an interesting shot, My first thought that it was the image through a pint glass and then it registered the sharp areas and the blurred are the wrong way round for that smile. I like the creativity and though for this composition.
Jide Alakija: Pint Glass? That's interesting. Should try that sometime. Thanks.

interesting effect - makes my head hurt a bit!
Jide Alakija: Sorry, didn't mean to cause any harm, just thought I'd illustrate what some people go through not using their glasses. Thanks.
Very nice. It's creative and visually interesting.
Jide Alakija: Thanks Otto K.

Jide Alakija: Thanks Gary.
Interesting. definitely unlike anything else you've done so far- I think its important to try new things.
Jide Alakija: WOW! I like that you've seen the contrast. Yeah I have been working on some stuff secretly. wink Thanks.

Don't know about the others, Jide, but having worn all types of contacts (including rigid ones) for ten years until i got my laser surgery in 2002, this image speaks volumes to me!
Jide Alakija: Thanks Sinem. You got the point!
I really like the attempt. As a guy who wears glasses, I've taken a photo very similar to this. My only suggestion would be to find a more dynamic and interesting subject to put in the line of the glasses. Regards.
Jide Alakija: Good point. Roger that Brent.

I don't know much about photography, but I'd like to say that I appreciate it, especially your work. I've been looking at this shot for a while and I particularly like it because I wear glasses and I can really relate to the differences in resolution that you portray. In short, well done, I really like this... keep it up.
