Pile of Knowledge

Knowledge is power, at least that's what I'm told. This is a colourful image doyou agree? I'm sure Mr Skee would like this one, if I'm right it's along his theme. What do you think of this image? What's your definition of Knowledge, Your personal definition? How do you think you can relate it to this image. Have a geat weekend guys.

A good exercise in focus and depth of field. Yeah, definately in the style of Mr Skee. Very abstract, combined with strong colour. 1 thumbs up from me.

I find the out-of-focus but brightly coloured books that dominate the top and bottom of the frame rather distracting from the point of focus. It makes me kind of unsure what am I supposed to be looking at. Perhaps a closer shot without the 2 mentioned books being so large in the frame would be more effective. The lighting seems overly harsh as well, with the large blown-out area. Just my $0.02

This is quite interesting use of "Repetition of shape", leading to an very interesting composition. Well done!

Blown out highlights spoilt this shot for me! But It is quite interesting!

interesting shot, interesting composition. Is this is a sign of things to come in your still life, i welcome that. I know ur not a fan of still-life and u consider it a weak point of urs, but u can turn it into a strength. remember when i hated doing portraits and i thought it was a weak point. U know i have improved since then and I am comfortable with portraits now. As a some ice head rapper once said "U can do it if U put ur back into it"

There's something about this picture that I find attractive... Not being able to place it makes it all the more interesting for me. I must say I AM positively impressed. Well done! Nur weiter so, Bruder ;-)

J,
I like this image. Your use of colour is definitely improving, between this and the picture of you on the bus - i may just become a fan of your colour work. I agree with Ade, u can do still-life when u put your mind to it. i know you hate it but its in you. Keep working at it. Lovely shot!
