Ajegunle's Son

Until now I had never been to the very much acclaimed Ajegunle of Lagos. It's a region in Apapa very close to the ports where a lot of trading goes on for the so called Tokunbo goods most middle class (now correct me if I am wrong here) Nigerians buy. This was infront of my Families restaurant, I decided to escort my mother as she was off to do business there. I was very much surprised at the number of people who live and work in this part of Lagos. Never had I seen so many people in one area. Anyway this was a little child who I just happened to catch running across the road, if I remember to meet up with some more of his friends to play (I'll introduce you to them maybe tomorrow as they came back together past me and you know what happened when they saw me "snapping") Now I wonder what I can tell you tomorrow....

Jide I am really loving this shot. You have been a bad boy, selective desaturation of the background? Whats happening to the Alakija man?

Love the sharpness of the little boy, works perfectly well in this shot.
I would have cropped a little tighter to the woman on the left though.

Lovely photo journo stuff as usual.

great picture, shame you cut the head of the people in motorbike, but this is really great picture... and great post processing.
Jide Alakija: I cropped teh riders out on purpose. They form a distaction from teh main subject. Thanks.
