I really like the muted colour and dark effect to this image. DOF is perfect providing a really strong emphasis on your subject and the background is nicely out of focus as it should be. I have to say, the purple car is perfect in this shot too. It looks great with the dark-muted look. I'll just ~assume~ you parked it there on purpose

That's one very intense expression. That's why candids intimidate me.

Great shot Jide I love the framing and lovely use of dof and the subdued tones, what tops it for me is the guys expression, did you need to find a surgeon to remove the camera following the shot!!

Great expression on the subject - his face is a real study. My eye was then led to the light patch behind his back whereas the car is probably a more interesting direction. Maybe darken and desaturate the left of the photo ?

That's my opinion anyway - like in "Black&White Photography" magazine where they get different people to interpret and print the same negative.
