This shot really should have been the shot that followed my last low light profile shot. But I got interrupted with the next shot. Anyway here it is. I haven't done any more to complete the series but I will do some more later.
On a more important note, today marks the start of a collective exhibition that I am part of at the Camden Art Gallery. I'm exhibiting pieces from my Rwanda series. The exhibition will be on for three weeks so if you are in the London area in that timed I urge you to make your way there to support the exhibition.
How did you light this Jide? A snoot? Really like the result.
Jide Alakija: Thx Nigel, I used a speedlite and snooted it with an opaque card.

Amazing image, Jide! Among other things,
the light hitting her clasped fingers is perfect.
This needs to be printed "large" and displayed!!
Will you ever publish a book? Do consider it,
because though websites are viewed by more people,
photographs as beautiful as yours need to be
bound in a book to be cherished and experienced
for years. Especially your black and white ones.
Your talent is great! Be happy.
Best wishes,
Nancy
Jide Alakija: Thanks nancy, though a yeah on I still am thinking about your message.
